Science students volunteer in hands-on activities such as the annual NanoDays science fair offered in partnership with Oneonta World of Learning, Science Saturdays programs coordinated by the Catskill Area Study Council, and public star-gazing events at our digital planetarium and college observatory. The college is also home to a Science Discovery Center that features special events throughout the year.

Our Athletics Department offers a variety of student-run sports programs, camps and special events ranging from swim lessons for toddlers to soccer clinics for high school athletes.

Each October, the Order of Omega fraternity/sorority honor society hosts a Halloween carnival at the Hunt College Union on campus. The carnival is followed by our popular Halloween in the Halls event, where student volunteers guide area children and the adults who accompany them to the residence halls for trick-or-treating and other Halloween-themed activities.
