Gerontology Studies Minor - GERT

This minor is only available to students who matriculated prior to Fall 2019.

Gerontology Studies is an interdisciplinary field of study that is administered by the Center for Life Course Studies. It utilizes the body of knowledge of the social and behavioral sciences to develop theoretical frameworks for the study of adulthood and aging from the life course perspective. A minor in Gerontology is an excellent choice for students who would like to develop knowledge and skills in understanding the issues associated with an aging population or in working with people during the second half of the life course.
