Workshop for Adults
A great opportunity for anyone who would like to write, but has difficulty getting started. This introductory workshop invites adults to put their life experiences or words of wisdom down on paper. Using fun and easy prompts, students will learn to express themselves in the form of their choice: fiction, personal narrative or memoir – all are welcome. Exercises will stir the imagination and become a launching pad for creative self-expression. Through writings by various authors, we will discuss voice, the point of view and where inspiration comes from. Must be 18 years or older.
Bring a ruled notebook and pen or pencil to class.
