Choose from one of the following classes:

Chair Yoga

A very gentle, beginner's class in which we use the chair for support through all poses, either standing next to the chair or sitting in it.  Emphasis is on exploring range of motion; breathing exercises; and developing greater flexibility.  No mat needed, just comfortable, stretch clothing.  Excellent class for those with injuries, stiffness, or decreased mobility due to surgery; this class can be done in a wheelchair. 

This class will give you a great workout and is adaptable for all levels.

All levels of experience are welcome!

WINTER SESSION - Class Cancelled

Slow Flow Yoga

Put yourself first, and use your lunch hour wisely! Sign up for this gentle, flowing class in which we move through poses, usually holding a pose for 15-20 seconds.  Emphasis is on slow movement through the available range of motion, gradually building strength and flexibility.  Participants bring their own mat, wear stretch clothing and are comfortable with moving from a standing position to the floor and back up again. Occasionally we will use props such as chairs, blocks and straps (all provided by instructor, but wonderful if some participants can bring their own). 

This class is beneficial for beginning and intermediate yoga students.

Yoga Sculpt

Yoga Sculpt consists of resistance training yoga postures to help increase strength and flexibility and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. This yoga class helps develop and maintain strong bones, improve body image and confidence with a one-breath-one-movement pace. All levels welcome. Please bring a set of 2-3 pound hand weights, a yoga mat, water and wear comfortable clothes. 

4:30-5:30 P.M. Hunt Union, Café Union Square

This is a 10 week mini-session Monday late-afternoon class.
Fee: $100.00 Max: 12 students

Gentle Hatha Yoga

Gentle Hatha Yoga integrates the body, breath and mind with breathing techniques and meditation through standing and laying down yoga postures. This yoga class consists of yoga postures to promote flexibility and clear the mind. Beginner and mixed-level are welcome. This yoga class provides yoga blocks and straps to focus on alignment and stability.  Please bring a yoga mat, water, and wear comfortable clothes.

6:00-7:00 P.M. Hunt College Union, Café Union Square

This is a 10 week mini-session Monday evening class.
Fee: $100.00 Max: 12 students

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa flow yoga is a flowing sequence of yoga postures that synchronizes the breath with every movement, often known as a moving meditation. This yoga class consists of breathing techniques, sun salutations, work-phase and a cool down. Some yoga experience is recommended. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and wear comfortable clothes. 

5:00-6:00 P.M. Hunt Union, Café Union Square

This is an 8 week Wednesday afternoon class.
