Health and Wellness

Our Health and Wellness Center offers a variety of services, including care for illness and injuries, health education, immunizations and psychiatric counseling.

Students have all kinds of opportunities to stay fit while at SUNY Oneonta — whether it’s swimming laps, hitting the gym, participating in intramurals, joining the Fencing Club or hiking the trails at our College Camp.

Academic Support

Our Academic Advisement Center offers help with course selection, choosing a major and completing graduation requirements. Students also receive one-on-one peer support from more than a dozen student Academic Team Members (ATMs), experienced students who know the challenges of choosing a major, making a schedule and balancing academic, social and personal priorities. ATMs assist students during regular office hours, informal interactions and special activities.

Tutoring services, writing assistance, study resources and accessibility resources are available through our Student Learning Center in Milne Library. Services include peer tutoring, professional academic coaching for writing, study skills, reading & basic math, courses in reading, writing, study skills, math, tutor training, and accommodations for accessible environments.

Career Planning

Our Career Development Center offers information on internships, job opportunities and career planning. Services include career counseling, resume and cover letter critiques, career development classes, and a Graduate and Professional School Fair held on campus each fall.
