Why SUNY Oneonta?
For one, the community and the students here seemed friendly. It seemed like a welcoming environment. They also had my major here and it was far enough away from home, the Bronx, but close enough at the same time. The perfect distance.
The first couple of weeks here, we had a trip to the roller skating rink, and that was really fun. It was my first time roller skating. I had gone ice skating before, but it was different. It was fun, though, and memorable. I actually kind of prefer Oneonta to the city, because it’s more quiet than the city and there’s just not as much chaos. In the city, you can’t really have time to yourself like you can here. I wasn’t sure if coming here would be an easy transition for me, but it actually was.
What I’ll Remember in 20 Years
So much school spirit and so much of the color red, especially on Red Day. I wasn’t expecting to see that much!
Plans, Goals, Dreams
Well, I have a goal to work with Goldman Sachs or maybe JP Morgan. Those are the top businesses I want to work for right now. But I’m not really 100 percent sure if investment banking is what I want to do. I’ll have to see.
