Why SUNY Oneonta?
I love the campus. It was the first school I visited. I fell in love with it immediately, and then I knew they had a great education program and I knew that was what I was going for. I visited about 10 schools, but I always came back to Oneonta each time.

One summer, I went to Italy to study abroad. My mom was born in Italy, and my whole family speaks Italian, so it's always been a dream to go study abroad there. It ended up working out perfectly for me that I could do a summer study abroad instead of a full semester. So I was there for a month and took classes.
What I’ll Remember in 20 Years
Probably my roommate story! I met my best friends going random with roommates. I was actually in a forced triple. So there were three of us in a double-sized room and we all ended up being really, really close friends. I always like to tell the story because it ended up working out for us. We were given the chance to de-triple eventually, and we said no. So we stayed in the room, and then we got a triple the second semester! It was really a great freshman and sophomore year living on campus. I loved being able to meet new people and the residence hall life. They really do a good job at putting on different activities.
Plans, Goals, Dreams
To be a biology teacher! My mom is a teacher, so I grew up in the teacher family. And in high school, I loved my bio teacher, so she really pushed me toward secondary education. I think I’d like to teach in Westchester – probably a more diverse school.
