Why SUNY Oneonta?
I applied here along with a close group of friends, and I thought we’d all go here together, but they ended up going to a different school. That actually ended up being the best thing that could have happened. If I could do it all over again, I would, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Being an RA has been a challenge in a good way. It teaches you responsibility. I don’t like it -- I love it. It taught me a lot about myself and taught me what I want to do after graduation. It was the greatest experience I could have ever gotten because I fell so many times, but it made me strong. It made me who I am today.
What I’ll Remember in 20 Years
This has been the best four years of my life. Previously, I haven’t had the opportunities that I’ve had here because I come from the Bronx and we are very underprivileged. We don’t have the same resources. In high school, we didn’t have after school programs. Here, I made up for all those times that I couldn’t do anything. It was the best choice of my life, and I’m very happy that I chose to come here. I don’t want to leave. It has made my life so much better.
Plans, Goals, Dreams
I would love to go to grad school. My dream job would be to be director of Residence Life here at SUNY Oneonta!
