Why SUNY Oneonta?
I chose SUNY Oneonta because I fell in love with the campus the first time I came here. I felt that sense of community and that sense of welcoming home. And I loved how every part of the campus was kind of compact and together. I loved the campus life. I actually looked at some city schools and some other campus schools, and I definitely decided I wanted to live on a campus, and I knew that this was the one for me.

Probably my experiences with the Ski and Snowboard Club. Living in the residence halls is definitely one of the best things, too, because I met my best friends that I'm living with now in my residence hall freshman year. Honestly, I haven't had a bad experience here. I can't pick a favorite!
What I’ll Remember in 20 Years
I will definitely remember how happy I am – that I walk around campus and just say to myself, “I'm so happy I'm here. I love it here.” So I think I'll definitely remember how happy it made me to be here.
When I’m doing a tour, I talk to the prospective students a lot about the academic programs here and I talk to them a lot about life outside the classroom. I definitely talk to them about that community feel that's here, that warm welcome that's here. I tell them, “You'll meet your best friends here.” I talk to them about how you will find a home here and that it's definitely where you need to be. I'll talk to them about academics and how great all the professors are and how the professors care about you and how they really do want you to succeed just as much as you want to succeed. And I brag about how beautiful our campus is and tell them my favorite spots – Hunt Union pond when the leaves are changing and standing up at the top of campus by the Welcome Center and just looking down at the campus.
Plans, Goals, Dreams
So my interest and majoring in Business Economics actually came from my interest in fashion. I grew up loving fashion and every aspect of it and coming to college I knew I wanted to study fashion. It was just deciding which aspect of it, and I decided I wanted to do more of the business side. So my dream job after SUNY Oneonta would definitely be working in some type of fashion corporate office in the city or working for a stylist or anything that the business aspect of fashion could provide me.
