Why SUNY Oneonta
The moment I stepped on campus, I knew I belonged here. There’s this community feel that’s impossible to ignore. I came on a class visit, and I sat in on a psychology class because I knew I wanted to do something to help people. That really reassured me this was something I wanted to do. Then I took a tour and saw the stage. I love that I was able to pursue what I want to do as a career – psychology – while also pursuing my passion for theater, which is something a lot of schools don’t offer.

One of my best experiences was taking a course called Stagecraft. What I love about it is that we get to work hands-on, building sets for all the productions we’re doing this semester and designing the set for a show we’re doing next year. Being involved in the theatre program has given me so many opportunities for growth. I’ve met so many amazing people.
Plans, Goals, Dreams
I’m hoping to study abroad in London. I’ve never left the East Coast. I love all the opportunities SUNY Oneonta offers for people who want to study abroad.
