School of Arts & Humanities

The School of Arts and Humanities offers exceptional learning opportunities across a diverse range of disciplines, from English and philosophy to art and theatre.

Immerse yourself in another culture during a faculty-led field course abroad. Present a paper at our annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference, one of the longest running and most prestigious in the nation. Exhibit your artwork in our annual Juried Student Art Show. Or discuss literature with noted writers and scholars during our Red Dragon Reading Series, New Critics Literature and Composition Conference, or Burroughs and Cooper summer seminars.

Theatre majors get hands-on experience in every aspect of theatre arts, from lighting and stagecraft to acting and directing, during several productions each year. And students in our nationally accredited music program develop and share their talents through ensembles and performances in genres ranging from opera to experimental music.
