Adjusting to college can be a big transition, but students don’t have to go it alone. Our Office of Student Experience offers support for new students through peer-led orientation programs and special events throughout the year and Sophomore Specific programs to special events for Juniors and Seniors. Our Career Planning and Networking staff have created information for students based on their status to guide them in their career path.

To guide students through a successful transition to life at SUNY Oneonta, we’re here to answer questions and help students make academic and social connections. Our goal is to help students maximize their potential for success and find their niche — whether that means getting involved in athletics, student government or one of the nearly 150 clubs and organizations on campus, becoming a Resident Advisor or collaborating with a faculty member on a research project.
