Explore Our Experiential Learning Opportunities

From leadership opportunities to lifelong friends, living on campus will be a big part of your Oneonta experience. With a whole team to welcome you and all kinds of ways to get involved, you’ll feel at home right away.

All students living on campus have the Resident Dining Plan, which includes unlimited dining hall access, plus retail dining dollars that can be used at our on-campus coffee shops and marketplace.

What to do now:

SUNY Oneonta has a three-phase orientation program: Over the summer, you’ll be required to complete an online program that covers four topics: Money Matters, Living on Campus, Academic Support and Success, and Meet the Dragons.

We're excited to welcome you to campus this fall! Planning for our fall 2021 orientation is in progress and we'll share more details as the semester gets closer. Whether our events are in-person, virtual or a combination, our goal is the same: to help you make a smooth transition to life as a Red Dragon! During orientation, you'll meet classmates and make friends, connect with faculty, learn where to go for support services and find out about the many ways you can get involved in campus life.

An extended orientation program will occur throughout the first semester.
