Confirm your enrollment by paying your deposit(s): $100 for tuition and $100 for housing. (refundable until May 1 or within 30 days of deposit if you pay your deposit after April 1).

  • Online: You can pay the deposit online through your Applicant Status Page (Forms Section, Reply Form - Undergraduate)
  • Mail: Make your check payable to SUNY Oneonta and send it to: Admissions Office, SUNY Oneonta, 108 Ravine Parkway, Oneonta, NY 13820 with the student’s name and date of birth in the memo line.

All students living on campus have the Resident Dining Plan, which includes unlimited dining hall access, plus retail dining dollars that can be used at our on-campus coffee shops and marketplace.

What to do now:

  • Send in your $100 housing deposit online through your Applicant Status Page.
  • Join the SUNY Oneonta Class of 2025 Facebook group to connect with potential roommates.
  • Watch your inbox for important housing information, including a link to the housing application form beginning Feb. 15.


SUNY Oneonta has a three-phase orientation program: Over the summer, you’ll be required to complete an online orientation component that will provide information you need prior to your arrival on campus.

We're excited to welcome you to campus this fall! Planning for our fall 2021 orientation is in progress and we'll share more details as the semester gets closer. Whether our events are in-person, virtual or a combination, our goal is the same: to help you make a smooth transition to life as a Red Dragon! During orientation, you'll meet classmates and make friends, connect with faculty, learn where to go for support services and find out about the many ways you can get involved in campus life.

An extended orientation program will occur throughout the first semester.

To be considered for financial aid, you must list SUNY Oneonta on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using our federal code of 002847. You will receive an eAward notification and instructions on how to access your award information through myOneonta.

Bills for the fall semester will be issued over the summer. For families who prefer to spread out payments, we offer a three-payment installment plan.
