Telecommuting
Working Remotely
In order to work remotely, you will need:
- A broadband internet connection
- A computer, laptop or tablet
We may be able to supply a laptop, but we cannot provide internet access. If you don’t have internet at home, check to see if you can use your cell phone as a hotspot. Be sure to keep an eye on your data as your carrier may charge for data overages. The university will not reimburse data or internet costs.
Additionally, to participate in online meetings or to use your office phone via your computer, you will need a microphone, speakers, and a camera if you require video. Most laptops have all of these components but we may be able to supply a webcam if you need one.
