Academic Support
Support is available for students at every level, from first-years to grad students, including:
- personalized help with coursework, writing, time management, and more through our Academic Advisement and Student Learning Center.
- Access to tutoring, study groups and learning workshops—both in-person and online.

Career Preparation
Current students and alumni have access to our Career Planning and Networking Center, which offers:
- resume reviews, mock interviews and career fairs
- internship connections, career coaching and job search tools tailored to your major and goals
- career prep for grad school applicants, including writing personal statements and preparing for admissions interviews

Experiential Learning
At Oneonta, real-world, hands-on learning is built into all of our majors and programs. Every student has the chance to participate in internships, undergraduate research, service learning, or creative projects.
Many opportunities are paid or funded through campus grants and partnerships.

Student Employment & IT Support
On-campus jobs help students gain valuable work experience and earn money, with positions in offices, labs, dining, athletics and more.
ITS (Information Technology Services) provides tech support, campus Wi-Fi, computer labs and access to essential software like Microsoft 365 and Brightspace.
