Choose SUNY Oneonta for an excellent college experience, without a mountain of debt. Our in-state tuition rate is one of the lowest in the nation, and 91 percent of our first-year students receive financial aid. Additional financial support includes:
- Guaranteed room rates — no surprises from year to year. The price of living on campus will be fixed for each entering class and will not be increased for as long as you live in our residence halls
- Academic merit- and financial need-based scholarships, renewable for up to four years
- Student grants for internships, research, study abroad programs and short-term trips
- A Student Emergency Fund, providing one-time grants to students facing unexpected financial challenges
