Fraternity and Sorority Life
SUNY Oneonta has 22 recognized fraternities and sororities. First-semester freshmen are not allowed to join but can attend recruitment events to learn about each organization.

Athletics
SUNY Oneonta’s 21 men’s and women’s athletic teams compete at the NCAA Division III level and are part of the SUNY Athletic Conference. Not on an athletic team but still want to play to win with friends? Or just stay fit? Join a club sports team, participate in intramural athletics, or drop in on a fitness class.
