Attend Self-Study Institute (Begins Sept 29th, virtual); write charges for Working Groups; solidify objectives of the self-study evaluation.

October 2020

Solidify Working Groups Members by October 15th at the latest - Members Identified/need to be shared with Steering committee for edits/approval.

Convene introductory Steering Committee meeting October 30th; solidify Working Group membership, share timeline with governance and campus community.

December 2020

Convene introductory meeting of the Working Groups.

January 2021

MSCHE Steering Committee Meeting; remote meetings w/ Commission staff liaison; convene Working Groups and outline scope of work; develop research questions for the self-study evaluation, begin to draft Self Study Design document (SSD)

February 2021

Working groups organize their organizational structure and identify and locate the evidence to support their standard; upload evidence to SharePoint.

March-April 2021

Review communication plan, editorial guidelines; finalize draft self-study design.

April 2021

Working groups will submit a progress update on standard report to the Steering Committee.

May 2021

Submit draft SSD by May 15th, 1-2 weeks prior to Self-Study Prep Visit (SSPV) to campus.

June 2021

Revisions and acceptance of SSD; Working Group co-chair communication.

June 17-17, 2021

VP MSCHE liaison visit with campus constituents.

July -August 2021

Co-Chairs w/ input from Steering Committee members review/provide feedback on planning grids for standard reports. Working Group members on contract during summer continue to gather evidence using planning grids as possible.

September 2021

Working groups gather evidence; begin drafting self-study outlines and standard reports.

October - November 2021

MSCHE chooses the Self-Study Evaluation Team Chair; visit dates chose; when accepted, SSD sent to chair. Review progress of Working Groups; hold community forums.

December 2021

Submit outlines of standard report to Steering Committee Co-Chairs.

January 2022

Feedback from Co-Chairs provided on outlines of standard reports to Working Groups.

February 2022

Submit first drafts for each standard report to the Steering Committee Co-Chairs;

MSCHE selects the evaluation team Chair and SUNY Oneonta confirms the choice.

March 2022

Hold community forums; gather feedback on draft documents.

April 2022

Working groups submit final standard report drafts to Steering Committee Co-Chairs; update to campus community.

Summer 2022

Standard reports organized/revised into first draft of "Self-Study Evaluation" following the pre-approved format.

September 2022

Campus -wide discussion of Self-Study Evaluation, input used for revision; initial preparation of Verification of Compliance report.

October 2022

Second draft of Self-Study Evaluation finished and distributed.

October-November 2022

Self-Study Evaluation draft sent to MSCHE Team Chair (two weeks before visit); Team Chair's Preliminary Visit.

November-December 2022

Self-Study Evaluation finalized based on MSCHE Team Chair feedback and shared with campus.

December 2022

Verification of Compliance Report Submitted.

January 2023

Final Self-Study Evaluation/Verification of Compliance/Evidence Inventory uploaded to MSCHE portal (six weeks before team visit - by Jan 1, 2023).

February-April 2023

On-Site Evaluation (Team) Visit; Team Report; Institutional Response.

June-November 2023

Commission meets to determine action.
