Shannon Marlow is currently the Hall Director of Tobey Hall at SUNY Oneonta. Shannon is an alumna of SUNY Oneonta, and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Earth Science. Shannon went on to receive her Master's in Higher Education & Student Affairs from the University of Iowa in 2015. Shannon had a graduate assistantship in Academic Support & Retention, as well as internships in Student Health & Wellness at Iowa, and Student Conduct at Coe College.

While at Iowa, Shannon served as the advisor to Zeta Beta Tau fraternity during its colonization process, and the following year as the House Director for Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Shannon enjoys baking, dancing and crafting in her free time. Before returning to work at SUNY Oneonta, Shannon worked as a Hall Director at Saint Louis University. Shannon plans to begin a second Master's degree in School Counseling at SUNY Oneonta in the fall, to assist high school students with their post-secondary education planning.

About This Hall

Tobey Hall is one of our 5 First Year Experience halls. Tobey offers double style rooms, with common floor bathrooms. Throughout the building, there are multiple laundry rooms, kitchens, common lounges and even a fitness center! Each room has movable furniture and built in mirrors. Bathrooms are cleaned and stocked by our friendly custodial staff Monday-Friday. You'll enjoy the short walk to the dining hall and still with the access to bake cookies for your friends in the building. We are excited to have you join us for all of the FYE traditions. Go Tobey!
