The Educational Technology Committee is advisory to the College through the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Vice President for Finance and Administration about matters pertaining to educational technology and serves as an advisory group the CIO.
The committee is the primary avenue for faculty recommendations about policies, procedures and planning related to the use of technology for teaching and learning. The committee recommends standards, where appropriate, for purchase and support of computer hardware, software, and other educational technology.
The committee makes recommendations for the Faculty Computer Purchase Program and additions to the Learning Management System.
Members of the committee represent the college at large but also articulate to the committee programmatic interests in the departments or areas they are appointed to represent. Two members are appointed to represent users of Academic Information Technology Services.
