Personal Finance Achievement Award

Our Personal Finance Achievement Award is earned through the MAKING InCENTive$ Path and will be awarded during the semester you graduate. Those who earn a Personal Finance Achievement Award will receive a Making Cent$ graduation cord.

Each activity that you complete through the Making Cent$ program will earn you one credit in Making InCENTive$. You will earn the credit in whatever category you need the most. For example, the Making Cent$ of Life After College event has many credits assigned to it, however you will only earn one credit each time you complete the activity. The first time you complete it, you will receive the credit for "Making Cent$ of Life After College". The next time you complete it, you could earn an Invest/ Retirement, Tax, Employment, Save, Budget, Credit/Debt Management, or Participation credit... whichever category you need to satisfy the most.

Looking at the path below, credits will be assigned to the first category available (starting from the top and working down). For example, if a student completes a "Build a Savvy Spending Plan" meeting that is eligible for a save, budget, and participation credit, and the student has an opening in their path in the save category, then the credit they will receive is save. If the student completes another "Build a Savvy Spending Plan" meeting, and their save category is filled, then they would received a budget credit. If a student had both their save and budget categories filled, then they would receive a participation credit.
