Charge:
The University Retention Council (URC) will serve as the principle coordinating body for our efforts to retain enrolled students. The URC will monitor the progress of major strategic initiatives impacting student retention and graduation and offer advice and counsel regarding new and existing initiatives that impact enrollment, retention, and graduation. To carry out its charge, this group will focus on research and data-based evidence pertaining to retention and graduation. It will be composed of members from across all divisions, specifically those with responsibilities related to significant retention initiatives.
