Covid19 has caused us to change the way we provide dining services.  We appreciate your patience as we adapt and make changes to ensure your safety - our first priority.  We will be following CDC and NYS Health Department guidelines for best practices.     

All students living on campus are required to have a dining plan. Commuter students are not required to have a dining plan, but if selected, are subject to the dining plan refund policy. NYS tax laws does NOT allow conversion of tax free dining plans to taxable dragon dollars. In addition, NYS tax laws only allow refunds for students who are withdrawing, taking a leave or are otherwise dismissed by the college. See complete refund policy for specifics

Resident Student

You are required to have the Resident Dining Plan. All prices stated are per semester.

The 2021 - 2022 Resident Dining Plan - $2,500, allows students unlimited access to Mills and Wilsbach Dining Halls.  It also includes $325 Retail Dining dollars to be used at Starbucks, Mills Marketplace, Argo Tea, Seasons or any vending machine on campus. 

Retail Dining dollars may be carried over from fall to spring semester, but not from spring to fall. Due to NYS sales tax regulations, Retail Dining dollars may not be refunded. Check your account balances.

All customers must wear a mask from the time they enter a dining facility until they are seated with their food.  Unvaccinated customers must maintain social distance when they are seated.


 

Retail Dining Venues

You are required to wear a mask to enter any dining hall or retail facility. 

  • Mills Marketplace - our bustling market - eat in or take out.
  • Starbucks - located in the Hunt College Union - the only Starbucks in a 60-mile radius.
  • Argo Tea - located in Milne Library.
  • Seasons - located in Fitzelle Hall offers local and seasonal foods.

All customers must wear a mask from the time they enter a dining facility until they are seated with their food.  Unvaccinated customers must maintain social distance when they are seated.

Note: Retail Dining dollars may also be used for vending purchases or food items at the Red Dragon Outfitters.

Note: The listed dining plan pricing is for the academic year Fall 2021 and Spring 2022.

 

Higgins Resident Student

You will be assigned to the On-The-Go Plan.

This is a reduced dining plan of only $1,650.00 retail dining dollars. You can purchase food any of our retail food operations -Starbucks and Mills Marketplace, Argo Tea and Seasons.

You are welcome to eat in any of our resident dining facilities where you will be charged a door price of $7.00 Breakfast, $8.50 Lunch, $9.50 Dinner, and $7.00 Late Night, when using Retail Dining or Dragon Dollars.

This plan assumes that you will not be eating regularly in our dining hall, and that you intend to prepare many of your own meals in Higgins Hall.

The Resident Dining Plan of $2,500.00 is also an option for you.

To CHANGE to the Resident Dining Plan:

  1. Email Student Accounts that you would like to switch to the Resident Dining Plan.
  2. Include your name and A# in the email.

You must make this change before Thursday, September 2, at 4:30 p.m. Questions? Call the OAS Dining Services Office

Commuter / Off-Campus Student

You are not required to have a dining plan. If you do not select a plan, you will not automatically be enrolled in a dining plan. All prices stated are per semester.

If you wish to change your commuter plan you must make this change before Thursday, September 2, at 4:30 p.m.

To add a plan:

  1. Email Student Accounts that you would like to switch to the Resident Dining Plan.
  2. Include your name and A# in the email.

Your Dining Plan Options Include: 

  • Commuter A - $1,100 (for off campus & commuter students ONLY) (All Retail Dining dollars)
    This plan, for Commuters only, enables you to purchase food at any location. You may add additional Retail Dining dollars at any time. Commuter students may also select the Resident Dining Plan.
  • Commuter B - $825 (for off campus & commuter students ONLY) (All Retail Dining dollars)
    This plan, for Commuters only, enables you to purchase food at any location. You may add additional Retail Dining dollars at any time. Commuter students may also select the Resident Dining Plan.
  • Commuter C - $550 (for off campus & commuter students ONLY) (All Retail Dining dollars)
    This plan, for Commuters only, enables you to purchase food at any location. You may add additional Retail Dining dollars at any time. Commuter students may also select the Resident Dining Plan.
  • Commuter D - $330 (for off campus & commuter students ONLY) (All Retail Dining dollars)
    This plan, for Commuters only, enables you to purchase food at any location. You may add additional Retail Dining dollars at any time. Commuter students may also select the Resident Dining Plan.
  • Resident Dining Plan - $2,500, includes $325 Retail Dining dollars
     

If you choose a Commuter Retail Dining dollars plan you will be charged an entry price at any of the Resident Dining Halls.
