SUNY Oneonta values the opportunity for student groups to visit the campus. Visits are designed for high school juniors, seniors, and college transfer students and can include a 60-75 minute walking tour of campus and information session.
Group Visits are scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays while classes are in session. Additional dates are limited; please contact Kathy Stockert at 800-SUNY-123 with any questions. Please complete and submit the Group Visit Request Form (below) at least 3 weeks in advance of your requested date.
UPDATE: We are no longer accepting requests for Spring 2018.
While visiting SUNY Oneonta, all visitors are expected to follow our Code of Conduct. Please read the section below and share it with all members of your group prior to your visit.
Code of Conduct
All groups and guests are expected to be well-behaved and be respectful of our campus property, presenters and our tour guides. Visitors will be entering classroom buildings, residence halls and dining facilities where current students, faculty and staff will be carrying out their daily activities, and it is important to stay with your group, talk quietly and pay attention to your tour guide. Disrespect to any individual or the campus, or dangerous, aggressive or threatening behavior will not be tolerated. Failure to adhere to the regulations will result in your school not being allowed to visit SUNY Oneonta in the future. SUNY Oneonta staff reserve the right to end a group visit at any time if they feel visitors are breaching our Code of Conduct. Chaperones are expected to be with their group and monitor behavior at all times. Groups must have one chaperone for every ten students visiting the campus.
If you have any questions or would like to speak to a staff member about a group visit, contact our office at 800-SUNY-123.
