Scholarships and Assistantships
The college offers Graduate and Teaching Assistantships to a number of full-time graduate students who are enrolled in degree programs. Assistantships are awarded by academic departments. Assistantships may involve tuition waivers and/or stipends. Interested applicants should contact the Office of Admissions for additional information.
Educational Opportunity Program
Students who have graduated from a New York state institution of higher education EOP/HEOP or SEEK program may apply for the Graduate Opportunity Program. A small number of awards are available. Information may be obtained from the Office of Opportunity Programs (607) 436-2407.
SUNY Graduate Diversity Fellowships are available to qualified students pursuing advanced degrees. Preference will be given to full-time minority degree candidates who are pursuing their first graduate degree. Funds are appropriated on an annual basis and are subject to change. Students must submit a new application for each new school year
Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), is the first step in the financial aid process. FAFSA is the application for federal aid, including loans.
