Access and Opportunity Programs

Pass Through the Pillars

Access and Opportunity Programs (AOP) provides leadership, guidance, support, and services that present opportunities and options encouraging and promoting holistic, individual development for students and campus constituencies along with an ongoing commitment to program advocacy.

At Oneonta, a student admitted through EOP, Aspire Oneonta, or CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) receives individualized attention and services throughout their college career as a member of AOP, beginning with a month-long Summer Academy, where they make friends, become familiar with the campus and prepare for a successful transition to college.

AOP professionals take pride in assisting students academically, professionally, socially, and personally to become competitive and successful in a demanding and diverse society.
