The authorized person must present a picture ID.

On Saturday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m., you'll gather on the upper quad for your second Pass Through the Pillars experience. As freshmen, you officially joined the Oneonta community by literally following in the footsteps of your predecessors and walking between the historic pillars of Old Main and toward a welcoming crowd.

Now, you will walk the opposite way through the pillars --with friends, family and faculty cheering you on -- away from the hub of campus and into the next phase of your life. Pass Through the Pillars ends with a champagne toast.

Students should arrive at the Chase Gymnasium no later than 1 hour prior to the start of their ceremony (8 a.m. for the 9 a.m. ceremony and 10:30 a.m. for the 11:30 a.m. ceremony).
