Music Facilities

As a Music or Music Industry student at SUNY Oneonta, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art studios and rehearsal rooms in the Fine Arts Building, fully equipped with professional microphones, synthesizers, controllers, consoles, interfaces and more.

Studio A

Studio A features an API 1608 32-channel analog console, Avid Pro Tools HDX system, multiple microphone preamps, a wide array of microphones for vocals and instruments, Apple MacPro computers, and Focal and Genelec monitoring systems.

Studio B

Studio B includes a Mackie 1642 VLZ 16-channel mixer, Focusrite Clarett interface, Yamaha DX27 synthesizer, analog tape machines, Apple iMac computer, studio monitors and various outboard effects processors.

Studio C

Studio C offers a Digidesign C24 DAW mixing console, Focusrite Clarett interface, high-end microphones, API preamps, M-Audio MIDI controllers, Apple iMac computers and Dynaudio studio monitors.

Studio D, Rehearsal Rooms, M201 and M212

All Music Department facilities give you hands-on experience with the tools used in professional music production, allowing you to develop technical expertise while exploring creative possibilities in recording, mixing and producing music. Students may book any studio as well as Studio D, Rehearsal Rooms M101 and M114, and rooms M201 and M212.
