SUNY Oneonta accepts payments from 529 College Savings providers. You must contact your 529 provider to request a withdrawal. SUNY Oneonta cannot withdraw funds from a 529 account on your behalf.
You may withdraw funds to be paid directly to SUNY Oneonta or to yourself.
- If payment is to be sent to SUNY Oneonta by your plan administrator, you should select the print option from the online bill and indicate a pending direct payment on the printed bill in the "Other" section of the Optional Adjustment Worksheet. Mail the printed bill by the due date with a copy of your withdrawal request confirmation.
- Electronic payment from your 529 plan administrator is preferred. Simply contact your plan administrator (e.g. NY Saves) and use the college’s Federal School Code: 002847 and Campus Code: 00 to initiate payment. Please submit documentation of your request for payment when you return your student bill. You may send this documentation via mail or to the Student Accounts email address at email@example.com.

- If the payment is sent directly to you, simply submit your full personal payment by the billing due date.
Please note that 529 withdrawals may take several days for processing. Please be sure to request your 529 funds prior to the semester bill due date in order to ensure timely payment.
