Planetarium Fall 2023 Show Schedule
We will be offering a free planetarium show for the general public on the following Friday night:
December 15
The show starts promptly at 7pm.
All public planetarium shows are great for adults and families alike. Presenters will highlight current astronomical events, provide a tour of the night sky, and explore the Universe with our Digistar planetarium system.
Seating is limited for live shows, and FREE tickets can be reserved through Eventbrite. Tickets become available approximately two weeks before each show, and you can sign up for email alerts through Eventbrite. If you reserve tickets but are unable to make the show, we ask that you cancel your reservation so that other families can join in on the fun.
Location: The planetarium is located in the basement of Perna Science. Enter through the main doors on the West side of the building and follow signs to the planetarium entrance.
Parking: Visitors may park in any staff/commuter/visitor parking lots after 6pm without a parking permit. The closest parking area is the Faculty/Staff lot 32, South of the Perna Science Building. Parking Map
Public Observatory Viewings
Currently we are using the College Camp Observatory for campus events and student research. If public viewing events become available, we will post them here.
If you are interested in a private group visit, or you would like to bring your class to the observatory, please contact Valerie.Rapson@Oneonta.edu for more information.
