We are pleased that all proceeds from the Thrift Shop fund a sustainability scholarship sponsored by the SUNY Oneonta Foundation. The scholarship is open to all students enrolled at SUNY Oneonta in fall of the following year, who have demonstrated a dedication to sustainability and its practice and implementation on the SUNY Oneonta campus. The scholarships, two, each for $1350, are open to all students enrolled at SUNY Oneonta next fall.
The scholarship is funded through proceeds from the Red Closet Thrift Shop, SUNY Oneonta’s on campus, student-run thrift shop dedicated to “keeping it out of the landfill” and the “responsible re-use of items”. Applications are open to all students who have demonstrated a dedication to sustainability and its practice and implementation at SUNY Oneonta.
