If your department, unit, or organization is holding a scholarly or creative event that may be of interest to faculty and staff, please email the following information to scholarlyevents@oneonta.edu:
- Subject of Email = Event title (please only include the event title in the subject line)
- Event Date and Time
- Department or other sponsor(s)
- Link to Campus Connection event or other registration page (no link needed for standing meetings)
- Event description (optional)
Standing meeting
To add the standing meetings of your school, department, or unit to the Academic Affairs Standing Meetings calendar, please email the following information to scholarlyevents@oneonta.edu. This calendar is intended to help avoid scheduling conflicts -- make sure your unit checks this calendar before planning events for faculty and staff.
- Subject of Email = Standing Meeting Name (e.g., Anthropology Dept Meeting)
- Dates and times of meetings
Campus Connection
Creative & Scholarly Events should also be posted via Campus Connection under the ‘Scholarly Events’ organization. This provides more visibility for the event (including links to ‘attend’ if virtual).
Daily Bulletin
It is also recommended that events be posted to the Daily Bulletin (submit at least 10 days to two weeks in advance so it is included in the intermittent email blast); link here for instructions on how to submit.
