What is Marketing?

Marketers are storytellers and strategists. They use data, creativity and communication to connect ideas, products and people across industries and platforms and help shape the way we see the world, from the brands we love to the messages we trust.

Our Marketing major challenges you to think critically, act creatively and lead with integrity. Through a rigorous mix of Business Administration and Marketing courses—including a required capstone in Marketing Management—you’ll gain real-world analytical skills, a deep understanding of diverse perspectives, and the ethical grounding to make smart, strategic decisions in any career path.

Hands-On Learning

The Marketing Club (OnMark) attends the International Collegiate Conference of the American Marketing Association (AMA) each year. The event provides the opportunity to attend presentations by speakers in the field, participate in case competitions and network with members of other AMA chapters. OnMark is consistently recognized as one of the top 10  award-winning collegiate chapters.
