Payment and Policy Information:
Payment must be received before your registration can be confirmed.
Refunds will only be considered if the Office of Continuing Education is notified in writing, 5 business days before the scheduled class.
Non-attendance requires both new registration and new payment.
*Please note that SUNY Oneonta will charge $20 for any returned check.
The non-credit courses offered through the Office of Continuing Education are all self-supporting. Therefore, we rely on registration fees to pay the instructors as well as any supplies or equipment needed for the course. Accordingly, we will consider refund requests made up to five business days prior to the starting date of the class or the advertised registration deadline. These requests should be made in writing and emailed directly to the Office of Continuing Education, firstname.lastname@example.org. For questions, please call 607-436-2548.
*Each course requires a minimum number of registrants to run. As a general rule, a final decision to run or cancel a course will be made one week in advance of the scheduled start date.
*If the college cancels any course for any reason, those pre-registered for that course will be notified by email (provided that an email is given at the time of registration), and payments will be refunded by check. SUNY Oneonta reserves the right to substitute instructors, adjust pricing, and/or reschedule classrooms if necessary. In the event of severe weather, it may be necessary to cancel or reschedule particular course sessions. If for-credit classes are canceled, non-credit courses will also be canceled for that date. Announcements of emergency cancellations will be posted on the college website www.oneonta.edu.
