SUNY Oneonta is excited to once again offer a slate of in person non-credit courses!
We are also continuing to offer our Live Online GRE, and SAT, Test- Prep courses. We encourage our campus community to continue to follow campus health and safety guidelines, which can be found here. SUNY Oneonta offers several noncredit personal enrichment courses open to community members. The courses are intended for adults over the age of 18 unless otherwise stated. There is no application process for non-credit courses, but online registration and payment are required to secure your spot in any given course. Registration is done online only through ProClass, our course registration tool. If you are new to taking non-credit courses, you will need to create an account, a password and username, which will allow you to register for the course of your choice on a space and date available basis. If you have taken non-credit courses with us in the last 3 years, you will need your username and password that you have previously created, or you can select the forgot your username and/or password to reset them and log in to your account. If you are a SUNY Oneonta faculty, staff or student registering for a non-credit course, the username and password for ProClass are NOT the same as your SUNY Oneonta login. You will need to follow the steps above to login again or create a ProClass account.

How to Register

Option 2: Register by phone at (607) 436-2548, with a Visa or Mastercard.
Option 3: Register in person with a Visa, Mastercard, Check or Exact Cash. 215 Hunt Union between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
We anticipate being able to offer a selection of courses each semester, so please check back often if you do not see something of interest this semester!
Payment and Policy Information:
Payment must be received before your registration can be confirmed.
Refunds will only be considered if the Office of Continuing Education is notified in writing, 5 business days before the scheduled class.
Non-attendance requires both new registration and new payment.
*Please note that SUNY Oneonta will charge $20 for any returned check.
Refunds
The non-credit courses offered through the Office of Continuing Education are all self-supporting. Therefore, we rely on registration fees to pay the instructors as well as any supplies or equipment needed for the course. Accordingly, we will consider refund requests made up to five business days prior to the starting date of the class or the advertised registration deadline. These requests should be made in writing and emailed directly to the Office of Continuing Education, conted@oneonta.edu. For questions, please call 607-436-2548.
Cancellations
*Each course requires a minimum number of registrants to run. As a general rule, a final decision to run or cancel a course will be made one week in advance of the scheduled start date.
*If SUNY Oneonta cancels any course for any reason, those pre-registered for that course will be notified by email (provided that an email is given at the time of registration), and payments will be refunded by check. SUNY Oneonta reserves the right to substitute instructors, adjust pricing, and/or reschedule classrooms if necessary. In the event of severe weather, it may be necessary to cancel or reschedule particular course sessions. If for-credit classes are canceled, non-credit courses will also be canceled for that date. Announcements of emergency cancellations will be posted on the SUNY Oneonta website.
