The 2022 Annual Juried Student Art Show is an annual exhibition juried by the SUNY Oneonta Art Department's full-time faculty members which includes juried work submitted by students and artworks preselected by the full-time and part-time faculty. It highlights the different mediums and themes explored by our students over the course of the academic year. There is also a virtual portion of the exhibition for the display of digital work, which is on view in the gallery and which you can visit online.

Open Call Exhibition: Spring 2022 is group show of work by SUNY Oneonta studio and digital art students. The work was selected from applications to the Gallery's open call for submissions in the Fall 2021 semester. This exhibition shows the diverse talent and range of skills exemplified by our students.

Art Across Campus: Bridging Divides is the first Art Across Campus exhibition, a series meant to showcase the creative output of students across campus from a diverse range of majors and focuses. Bridging Divides features work from Dr. Sheena Mason's (English Dept) courses and includes paintings, drawings, poetry, playlists, zines, and many more unique final projects.

SEA PSYCHE: REAL AND IMAGINED

Sea Psyche: Real and Imagined is a solo-exhibition of new work by Fly Creek-based artist Amy Cannon. Using a variety of methods and mediums – including surrealists' exercises, paper collage painting, and intaglio and relief impressions on clay – Cannon has created an abundance of familiar yet abstract forms. She is driven by the importance of nature and its preservation, and explores this through the lens of aquatic life and habitats, both real and imagined.

What Can You Do with a Degree in Art is an exhibition of new work by Sven Anderson, including a selection of professional and personal work by several of his students and alumni. Together, these works show the diversity of decisions, art forms, and perspectives that can branch from one teacher and one degree.
