Relationship Violence Wheels

We need your help!

Help us update our relationship violence wheels for 2018.

Our first college wheel happened as the result of a student intern research project...she has gone on to do a lot of great things since leaving SUNY Oneonta and now does prevention full-time at a college campus herself.

What we learned along the way is that this kind of work needs a makeover every couple of years and the more input we get, the better the final product.

In the last few years, we've made notes about how technology has changed relationship dynamics and changed language to become more gender inclusive and non-assumptive of sexual orientation. We even realized that two is better than one and created a wheel to reflect what bystanders might see.

This year we realize that we need to take our wheels through the lens of intersectionality and to ensure that they are inclusive of our trans and genderqueer community.

Here's how you can help:

You can access the wheels at the links below. For each wheel, there is also a link that will take you to a short survey where you can provide feedback on each segment.

We would also appreciate any volunteer editors.
