Competencies

Upon completion of the program, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • ability to critically analyze, identify, and evaluate proposals and draft deal memos for common industry agreements, including publishing/co-publishing, record company, management, touring/live performance; and
  • ability to identify legal and ethical implications of business decisions and strategies.

You will gain valuable skills, including the study of Music and Entertainment Industry contracts, negotiations and related Intellectual Property law.
