Counseling Center Outreach

The Counseling Center is here to provide assorted educational mental health outreach in many different formats. Formats such as presentations, workshops, and tabling for classes, clubs/organizations, incoming students/families, and faculty & staff. A list of our prepared presentation topics is below. If you do not see your desired outreach topic below, note that more notice (4 weeks) is required so outreach staff have sufficient time to prepare. Outreach outside normal business hours will also require extra notice.

We recommend that if you are a faculty member and you cannot teach a class but do not want to cancel, have the counseling center provide an outreach presentation.

We also offer the use of our portable labyrinth. The labyrinth is a 30-foot square and will be accompanied by a counseling center staff and shoe covers.

Prepared Topics

  • Counseling Center Overview/Services - 20 minutes minimum
  • Procrastination – 45 minutes minimum
  • Stress Management – 45 minutes minimum
  • QPR – 60 minutes minimum (90 minutes preferred); 35-participant maximum per session
