Overview
The Wellness Communication minor empowers students to lead in the rapidly expanding, trillion-dollar global wellness industry. As the only program of its kind in the SUNY system, the Wellness Communication minor combines the power of communication and media with cutting-edge wellness studies to prepare students to educate, inspire, and mobilize diverse audiences toward healthier, more meaningful lives. In this program, students learn to create ethical, high-impact wellness content, campaigns, and initiatives across platforms. Students also gain insight into how wellness and well-being shape everyday communicative decisions and interactions, skills strengthened through innovative coursework, hands-on experiences, and customizable electives that allow students to follow their own wellness passions.

1. University rules pertaining to curriculum majors also apply to curriculum minors
- Minor GPA of at least 2.0
- All courses must be taken for a letter grade unless offered Pass/Fail only
- One-half (1/2) of the minor coursework must be completed in residence
- No more than two courses may overlap between/among all majors/minors; any excess requires additional coursework
2. Check proper course selection, sequence and prerequisite requirements with the department of the minor
