These are the various types of course instruction formats the university offers. Click on a course type for information on identifying the format in your course schedule.

Courses With an On-campus Component

On-campus courses can be found by searching "on campus" under INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD on the Class Search Page.

On-campus courses are indicated with the Day(s), Time and Location(s) of each course:

​​​​In-person hybrid courses can be found by searching "hybrid" under INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD on the Class Search Page.

​​​​In-person hybrid courses are indicated with the Day(s), Time and Location(s) and followed by the notation "This is a hybrid course. Check the syllabus for more information.":

Courses That Do Not Have Any Campus Component

Synchronous Online courses can be found by searching "synchronous online" under INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD on the Class Search Page.

Synchronous Online courses are indicated with a location of ONLINE and the scheduled meeting day(s) and time:

Combined Online courses can be found by searching "combined online" under INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD on the Class Search Page.

Combined Online courses are indicated with a location of ONLINE, the scheduled meeting day(s) and time, and followed by the notation "This section includes synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Please keep the times listed above available for instruction as needed throughout the semester. Check the syllabus for more information.":

Asynchronous Online courses can be found by searching "asynchronous online" under INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD on the Class Search Page.

Asynchronous Online courses are indicated with a location of ONLINE, an empty scheduled meeting day, and a time of TBA:
