About the LLC
Are you interested in developing your leadership skills and getting involved in clubs and organizations at college? The Leadership LLC will challenge you to integrate leadership theory, the shared stories off community leaders, and your own experiences to increase your understanding of leadership.
You will learn to apply leadership knowledge through involvement in bettering the campus community, to understand yourself as a leader and to develop strategies to foster leadership development in others.
Leadership LLC students will focus on enhancing and understanding leadership skills. You will have the opportunity to learn from college and community leaders, enroll in Oneonta’s Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) program, and participate in leadership programs and conferences such as:
- Pathways, the freshman leadership day
- Emerging Leaders, a leadership program for first- and second-year students
- SUNY Pride Conference
- Diversity and Leadership Conference
- Center for Social Responsibility and Community Volunteerism Conference
Leadership LLC students will be enrolled in a first-year seminar taught by Child & Family Studies Professor Theresa Russo, as well as COMM 110: Public Speaking.
