Our Registrar’s Office is dedicated to supporting you through every step of your academic journey. Whether you’re registering for classes, planning your path to graduation, or requesting a transcript, our team is here to help you navigate your college experience with ease.

We oversee the following: 

• Course Registration: Simplified and streamlined, ensuring you stay on track to meet your academic goals.
• Transcripts and Records: Easily request a transcript or duplicate diploma
• Enrollment and Degree Verification: Students can quickly access proof of enrollment for loans, insurance, scholarships, and other needs through myOneonta, and/or share instant proof of your education with family, friends, and employers with a digital diplomas or certificate. Companies requesting enrollment or degree verification (the institution can be found as "SUNY Oneonta" or "State University of New York at Oneonta") should contact the National Student Clearinghouse online at National Student Clearinghouse Verification Services or by mail: National Student Clearinghouse, 2300 Dulles Station Boulevard, Suite 300, Herndon, VA 20171.
• Student Records: Changes to personal information, such as your address, emergency contact information, preferred name, pronouns and gender identification.
• Grading
• FERPA: The Registrar is SUNY Oneonta’s FERPA Officer
• Degree Works: DegreeWorks is a degree audit tool that allows you to easily see your overall degree requirements. This tool is integral to selecting courses and planning for timely degree completion.
• University catalogs: Undergraduate and graduate course catalogs are released prior to the start of ever academic year
• Academic Calendar: Our academic calendar includes Key Dates and Deadlines, Add/Drop Period, and Final Exam Schedule
• Graduation Applications: You should file a Graduation Application one semester prior to your expected graduation to receive a graduation pre-check, providing enough time to make any necessary adjustments to your final semester schedule to satisfy any unfulfilled requirements.
