CARLY BYMAN is a dual major in Business Economics and Communication Studies. She is from Garnerville, NY and is on track to graduate in the spring of 2021. Carly plays on the varsity Field Hockey team and is also a SLC tutor in addition to being the President for the Student Advisory Council. This past summer, she worked at Down to Earth, her local plant nursery. After graduation, Carly hopes to enter the finance world with a focus in teaching financial literacy.
BENJAMIN ROSENSTEIN is a dual major in Business Economics and Communication Studies from Manhassett, NY. Ben is on track to graduate in the fall of 2020. He is the President of the Management Club and the Vice President for Administration for the Activities Council.
PAIYAM KARDGAR is an Economics major. He is from Clarkstown, NY. In addition to the Student Advisory Council, Paiyam is Vice President of the Ultimate Frisbee Club, a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, Treasurer of the Geography club, and an Orientation leader. Paiyam plans to graduate in the spring of 2021. Upon graduation, Paiyam plans to pursue a master's degree or find a full time position.
TYDIAN SYLLA is a senior from Queens, NY. He is majoring in Business Economics. In addition to Student Advisory Council, Tydian is a Resident Advisor and active member in the ALS club. He is also a member of the fraternity Phi Kappa Psi.
LUIS AYALA is a senior and is majoring in Professional Accounting. He is from Pine Plans, a small town in mid-state New York. In addition to the Student Advisory Council, he is a resident advisor and an intern at Making Cents program. This past summer, Luis got the position as an accounting intern at Camp Winadu, but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. He worked in the accounting payable department at Ace Endico this past year. Luis is currently applying for an internship at one of the Big Four Accounting firms.
TRISTAN BATTISTONI is a junior from Pleasant Valley, NY. He is a Business Economics major with a concentration in marketing. Tristan is the captain of the Men's Soccer team, a student athlete advisory council member, an OPROS leader, and a part of the Finance and Marketing clubs. After graduation, Tristan plans on finding a job in the marketing field.
MICHAEL CAPASSO is a senior from Mahopac, NY. He is majoring in Professional Accounting with a concentration in Finance and is on track to graduate in the spring of 2021. Aside from SAC, Michael is also the finance coordinator for the Resident Student Organization (RSO), a student liaison for the Backpacks to Briefcases program, and a teaching assistant. After graduation, Michael plans on working toward his CPA license.
EMMA GLEASON is a Business Economics major with a concentration in Finance. She is from Niskayuna, NY. In addition to the Student Advisory Council, Emma is also the web coordinator for Finance club, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and a member of Alpha Phi Omega. This past summer she had an opportunity to intern at Cetera Investors, a financial planning firm. Emma plans to graduate in December of 2021. After graduation, Emma would like to pursue a full time carer as a financial advisor.
AMANDA GRESSER is a senior majoring in Professional Accounting. She is from Rockaway Beach, NY and is on track to graduate in the spring of 2021. In addition to the Student Advisory Council, Amanda is also the President of the Sigma Gamma Phi sorority, a peer tutor at the student learning center, and a member of the accounting society. After graduation, she plans on working in public accounting and becoming a CPA.
WILLIAM HUND is a dual major in Business Economics and Communication Studies with a concentration in Finance. He is from Farmingdale, NY and is on track to graduate in spring 2021. In addition to the Student Advisory Council, William is the President of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, a Student Association Senator, a member of the Finance club & the Golf club. This past summer, he had the opportunity to intern at Cetera Investors, a financial planning firm. After graduation, William intends on entering the financial services sector or pursuing a career as a financial analyst.
JACQUELINE IRVINE is a junior from Westchester, NY. She is majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Marketing. Jacqueline is also a active member of SUNY OnMark and the BeFit club on campus.
ZACH LOESEL is a senior graduating in the spring of 2021. He is from Valley Stream, NY. Along with the Student Advisory Council, Zach has been involved with various groups on campus such as Making Cents, the financial literacy program, the Volunteer Income Tax assistance, and the Finance club.
STEPHANIE MENOUTIS is a Professional Accounting major. She is a sophomore from Orange County, NY. Stephanie plays on the Women's Tennis team. She is also an administrative liaison for the Backpacks to Briefcases program and part of the accounting society.
DANIELLE SHAW is a junior from Pearl River, NY. She is majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Marketing. Danielle is on the Swimming and Diving Team, an OPROS leader, and a part of Alpha Phi Omega. This past summer, Danielle was a marketing intern at New York Life Insurance Company.
DANIELLE SULLIVAN is a junior and has a dual major in Business Economics and Communication. She is from Long Island, NY and will graduate in Fall 2021. Along with being part of the Student Advisory Council, she is in the Finance club. Danielle is a member of the Alpha Kappa Phi sorority where she holds the position of IGC delegate.
SHANICE THOMAS is a senior graduating in May 2021. Shanice is from Queens, NY. She is currently majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance. Shanice is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. She is also an intern for the Making Cents program.
CHRISTIAN YOUNG is a junior pursuing a Business Economics as well as IDS major with a concentration in Finance. He is from Westchester County, Cortlandt Manor. In addition to the Student Advisory Council, Christian is involved on campus as an orientation leader/DG and works as a Morris Conference Center building student manager. Being President of the Entrepreneurship Club isn't always easy but the fulfillment of creating opportunities for his peers and alumni is invaluable.
