SUNY Oneonta’s Lake and Watershed Science microcredential provides you with the following skills:
- Technical expertise in equipment calibration, use and maintenance
- Boat, trailer and small engine handling and troubleshooting
- Foundational theoretical knowledge and applied skills in lake and watershed monitoring
- Development of lake and watershed management goals and objectives
- Exposure to a wide variety of conservation and management techniques and alternatives commonly used in the field
- A variety of project management skills related to the development and implementation of lake and watershed management plans
