An increasing number of SUNY Oneonta students are making the most of the pause between semesters by taking advantage of summer internship opportunities that offer hands-on experience, networking and a chance to apply academic knowledge in real-world settings.

SUNY Oneonta students are getting firsthand experience in their fields of study this summer through research and creative projects on topics ranging from endangered turtles to an abroad Shakespeare-intensive.

Each spring for the past nine years, a unique partnership between Army Civil Affairs and SUNY Oneonta has brought together a battalion of Army reservists and graduate students to train the military’s next generation of protectors of cultural heritage.

The SUNY Oneonta Foundation is one of 159 large-sized organizations in the United States nominated for the 2024 Community Choice Awards by Charity Navigator, the nation's largest and most influential nonprofit evaluator.

SUNY Oneonta is among 745 colleges and universities across the country named to Money’s “Best Colleges in America 2024” list. For the second consecutive year, SUNY Oneonta has received a 4.5-star rating and is one of only five SUNY schools to earn 4.5 stars.
