This year, SUNY Oneonta has been further recognized with Field of Study badges for its professional programs in business and education. Field of Study badges are marks of honor in the world of higher education. Colleges of Distinction grants these awards after a comprehensive vetting process, selecting schools based on accreditation, breadth of program, and a track record of success, according to its website.
SUNY Oneonta’s AACSB-accredited School of Economics and Business offers undergraduate programs in Business Economics, Economics and Professional Accounting.
The college’s School of Education and Human Ecology offers nationally accredited elementary education programs in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) and Early Childhood/Childhood Education (birth to Grade 6), and adolescence education programs in biology, chemistry, earth science, English, family and consumer sciences, French, mathematics, physics, social studies and Spanish.
