Four SUNY Oneonta students have spent the last month digging into the past and honing skills for the future during the Pine Lake Archaeological Field School, now in its 21st year.
SUNY Oneonta is among 745 colleges and universities across the country named to Money’s “Best Colleges in America 2024” list. For the second consecutive year, SUNY Oneonta has received a 4.5-star rating and is one of only five SUNY schools to earn 4.5 stars.
It may be summer break, but learning at SUNY Oneonta is certainly not on pause, with more than 50 students having recently returned from five different short-term study abroad opportunities.
After two decades of music, camaraderie and a dash of chaos, SUNY Oneonta has bid farewell to “The Mothers of Intention,” a Frank Zappa-inspired performance class that became one of the most popular, longest running music ensemble classes in the university’s history, challenging and inspiring more than 60 alumni musicians.
Approximately 5 tons of gently used items donated by SUNY Oneonta students were saved from the waste stream and given new life this week, thanks to the annual Move-Out Donation and Reuse Collection program, a partnership with The Arc Otsego.
