Joined by regional leaders, SUNY Oneonta President Alberto Cardelle announced on March 15 the launch of a new Regional Innovation Council that aims to increase coordination between anchor institutions on economic and community development initiatives and address opportunities for continued collaboration within the region.

State University of New York Chancellor John B. King Jr. visited SUNY Oneonta on Thursday, Feb. 16, to meet with students, faculty, staff and community leaders and learn more about programs that support student success, research, economic growth, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Oneonta was the 13th stop on a tour that will take the chancellor to each of the 64 campuses in the SUNY system this spring.

Ink, a 4-month-old black Labrador Retriever puppy, is making history at SUNY Oneonta as the first pup to be raised on campus for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a nonprofit organization that provides guide dogs to people experiencing vision loss.
