Six SUNY Oneonta students won the highest possible honor at the 2023 National Model United Nations conference in New York City from April 10-14.
In recognition of its sustainability achievements, SUNY Oneonta has earned a STARS Silver rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE.) STARS, the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, measures and encourages sustainability in all aspects of higher education.
Three SUNY Oneonta faculty members and 178 students were honored for academic excellence at the annual Susan Sutton Smith Lecture and Award Reception on April 12.
Twenty students in SUNY Oneonta’s Marketing Club, OnMark, traveled to New Orleans last week to attend the 2023 American Marketing Association International Collegiate Conference, where they were ranked among the Top 10 Collegiate Chapters of the Year.
Eduardo Chavez – director, activist, podcast host and grandson of American labor leader and civil rights activist Cesar Chavez – visited SUNY Oneonta this week for a series of special events and activities that included an evening screening of his documentary, “Hailing Cesar.”
