This year’s Student Research & Creative Activity (SRCA) Day at SUNY Oneonta, held April 15 and 16, takes the form of a virtual showcase featuring 60 projects representing the work of 90 students and 50 faculty mentors from 30 academic departments.

SUNY Oneonta alumnus Scott Saltzman ’86, PUMA’s national sales manager, has reconnected with his alma mater to inspire fashion and textile majors by assisting with a class project based on PUMA’s Fall 2021 product release.
SUNY Oneonta was pleased to host U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer for a meeting with community leaders on Wednesday, March 31. The senator met with Acting President Dennis Craig, Hartwick College President Margaret Drugovich, City of Oneonta Mayor Gary Herzig and Otsego County Board of Representatives Chair David Bliss to discuss priorities and opportunities for improvement in our region. 
After a semifinal round that was neck and neck until the very end Friday, SUNY Oneonta’s beloved dragon mascot, Red, will advance to the final round of SUNY’s annual Mascot Madness competition, where students, alumni and fans vote to determine New York’s favorite college mascot.
