General Duties & Responsibilities
Note: All duties, responsibilities and activities will be in consultation with the SUNY Oneonta Office of Alumni Engagement and the AOP Department as represented by the AOP Alumni Coordinator and the AOP Director.
- Establishes Network short- and long-term goals
- Recruits more active members from all AOP graduates
- Seeks external financial support
Chairperson
- Provides sustained leadership
- Executes actions of Network
- Speaks on behalf of the Network
- Acts as liaison with the AOP Department and SUNY Oneonta
Steering Committee Membership
- Supports the leadership of the Chairperson
- Acts in place of the Chairperson when s/he is unavailable
- Other duties as requested by the Chairperson
- Plans and implements off-campus Network events in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Engagement
- Collaborates with the Office of Alumni Engagement concerning Alumni Association events
- Organizes fundraising activities in cooperation with University Advancement
